3 Ways To Improve Your Brain
Friends, today I want to share with you a few tips that can help us all succeed in life.
3 Ways To Improve Your Brain
Your brain is just like your muscles – if you don’t use it, you lose it. You can improve your memory and become a more skilled thinker, with better focus, if you are willing to work at it.
Try these 3 things, and see if it helps you. I am practicing these everyday, in hopes it will help me too.
#1. Ditch The Dish (or cable)
Watching television is typically a very mindless activity. Sure, there are some educational programs, which are an exception, but for the most part watching television is rather mindless. If you are watching television, your mind doesn’t have a chance to exercise. Try playing a board or card game, or working on a puzzle. Anything that will require a bit of mental work will help.
#2. Read Good Books
Try reading books that present a bit of a challenge. You may find some classical works of literature fascinating, or even some non-fiction books about an interesting topic. The typical suspense or other popular books don’t usually provide the needed “muscle flexing”, so try to pursue other books, and save the easy reading by popular authors for a more relaxing day by the pool.
#3. Get Outside
You will be surprised at just how stimulating a long run outside can be. Get out there and go for a walk, or a run, and use the time to clear your head. The fresh air and sunshine will lift your spirits. The productivity gain is phenomenal, and the health benefits and calories burned will be an added bonus.
I hope these 3 tips will be useful to you. I am incorporating these into my daily life – how about you?

Good advice. I’m not likely to follow it (except the reading part), but it’s none the less wise counsel.

These are all good tips. Since I got a computer, I hardly watch TV at all. We do read a lot and blogging definitely uses brain power, both posting and writing comments on others. I love to play video gamse on pogo.com too, also uses brain power. Going outside and being active is also something I try to do. Just played tennis and softball this week!

Thank you for the valuable information.
The verse “if you don’t use it, you lose it” awoke me. This statement rescued me from sinking in the passive dreaming. So to speak, the best way to improve our brain is to exercise the prompts of the heart – I bow to you and my applause is the hot.
Your post inspired me and helped to put my emotions to the practice.
Thank you once again.
I would greatly appreciate your visit to my blog http://artbytomas.blogspot.com/ Hope to receive your constructive comments. Thank you once again.
