If you are dealing with a low self-esteem, it can be a very difficult and challenging cycle. I want to present 5 steps to getting over these things.

1. Positive Affirmations
Make sure you give yourself positive affirmations. Certainly you can find something about yourself you like – tell yourself that you did something well, or that you are in some way doing something right. There are probably tons of things you can say to yourself in this regard.

2. Do Not Form Bad Habits
Do not let bad thoughts and negative thinking become a bad habit. If you notice them sneaking in, replace them immediately with something better from step 1.

3. Support Groups Work
Find a support organization that will help you in your journey. This could mean your Church or other religious group, a hobby group, or other group of friends that will help you in your journey.
