Do What You Love and Love What You Do (and the money will follow)
Friends, I think one of the most important aspects of success in life comes from one simple thing – do what you love and love what you do. Do you love doing something? I mean, really LOVE to do something?

Do What You Love and Love What You Do
Do you love working on cars, or building cabinets, or driving a vehicle, or guiding young students? Whatever the case may be, if you love what you do, you will have found fulfillment and success. Even if doing what you love won’t buy you a house in Beverly Hills, if you are content in your work and love what you do, you have found an important aspect of success. If the money is there, yet you cannot stand the thought of Monday morning rolling around, how successful are you, in the grand scheme of things? Not very, in my estimation.
I have found many times that something you consider a hobby – blogging, gardening, etc – can become a paying job, and perhaps even a full-time job. Do what you love, and the money will follow. I suggest writing out a list of hobbies, and seeing if any of them can become money making opportunities.
I suggest filling the list with hobbies that meets these criteria:
- you TRULY enjoy doing it
- you are very talented at it
- other people find it very difficult to do
- others would pay for the product or service
If you can find something that meets these criteria, you would be surprised at how much money you can make. Try to think about this – seriously – and see what comes to mind. Do what you love, and the money will follow. For me, things such as working on automobiles, blogging, graphic arts, and music are among my top list. Once you have a list of a handful of items that meet the criteria above, you can then begin to see which of these can be made into a full-time or part-time job.
I hope this helps you to really think about how to do what you love to earn money.
