Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff
Friends, have you ever heard this old saying? “Don’t sweat the small – and it’s all small stuff”. I think this is a very important lesson to learn, if you want to pursue a path of self-improvement and success in life.
The whole idea behind the saying is simple – Don’t let the details and minor issues in life drive you to failure. You can look at all the little things that happen – breaking the heel on your shoe, your pen running out of ink, all those minor details in life can drive you to give up. Don’t let that happen! There are going to be minor setbacks and issues – count on it. If you let them, they can eat away at you like a mouse with cheese, slowly nibbling away what patience and peace you have. If you instead allow yourself to drop those minor setbacks from your thoughts, and focus instead on the positive aspects of life, you will go much further.
Focusing on little failures and setbacks will certainly steal your confidence. Focusing instead on the positive things that happen, and the outcome you desire, will drive you to continue on your journey. In the grand scheme of things, is your pen running out of ink really worth losing your position of strength? I think not. Accentuate the positives, eliminate the negatives, and stop sweating over minor details. Keep things in perspective, and you will keep your cool.

Great perspective! I completely agree that it isn’t worth focusing on the little things that can irritate us. Letting those little pet peves take over our lives will keep us from reaching our goals. It’s better to focus on the positve in lifes which can help to give us peace.
