Get Rid Of Bad Habits
Friends, if you want to see a change in your life, right away, try something as simple as this: get rid of bad habits.
This could mean something as basic as changing a nervous habit or doing something that isn’t beneficial, or something as serious as an addiction to drugs or alcohol, or other serious addictions. If you have an addiction to something, please remember that you cannot go it alone. Seek professional help to eliminate those habits which can harm you physically or emotionally. There is no way you can successfully fight things like serious addiction without help. There is no shame in getting help, whether it is counseling or help from a physician. Bad habits can bind you, tie you down, and keep you from success.

Get rid of bad habits that keep you from being successful
Here are 5 points to remember when trying to get rid of bad habits:
#1. Do Not Wait
Start changing your life immediately if you wish to start seeing the benefits. There is no rule that says you must wait until a new week or new year to begin. Start NOW! No, not tonight, NOW! If you procrastinate, you will never get it done.
#2. Get Critical
Look at what your bad habit is, and how it can or does affect other people. Remind yourself of how the habit affects you, and others around you. Take a really good look, and learn from this.
#3. Think About Change
Imagine what life will be like after the habit is gone, and how much better life will be. How will it be better? Envision it. Picture it. Do it. Get rid of bad habits and move on.
#4. Get Support
Circle yourself with friends and family that can help you. Make sure you have the support group in place, so if you start to slip, someone can help keep you on track.
#5. Reward Yourself
Make sure you have a reward in mind, so that when get to your goal, you will have something nice waiting for you. Make sure it is something you will enjoy, so the end is that much nicer.
Now, go get rid of your bad habits, and adopt Million Dollar Habits!

It is always important to have a support group no matter how self-sufficient that we are. We need each other in one way or the other to make it. Great post!

By the way, I highly encourage anyone reading this blog to purchase the Brian Tracy book. I have listened to his audio program based on that book, and it has definitely paid off for me! Starting today and involving supportive others along the way is definitely the best way to get started and keep going, and don’t let shame or discouragement keep you from reaching out for help.

At first it is hard to change, but what is written above is just right. I think it will all start with a DECISION, and everything follows. There should always be a motivation. Seek for help, family and friends support. If you’ll just have perseverance to do it, even if it is hard to do, help always is on its way.
