7 Steps To A Better Day
Today, I want to give you a simple, yet effective, guide to make your day better. You can start these today – right now, regardless of what time it is. They can be done at any time during the day, and you will be glad you did them. Try it – what do you have to lose?
#1. Set A Goal
Set a goal to do ONE THING today that you have been putting off. The relief you will feel at the end is amazing, and so worth it!
#2. Find Positive Interaction
Seek out positive people who can help you in your goals. Positive people aren’t just people who always look at the bright side – they are people who look at the possibilities as well. Having them as friends will make you so much more effective in your daily life!
#3. Tell Yourself Something Good
For example, tell yourself “Something great is going to happen today!” and believe it! The power of positive thinking can work wonders in your life. This relates to #2.
#4. Exercise
Get off the couch and do something – anything – that is exercise. Even something as simple as walking around the block can make a big difference.
#5. Turn Off The Television
This relates to #4 – the TV is pretty much just junk food for the mind. Try reading a book, or finding some other outlet of interest.
#6. Give A Compliment
Find someone to compliment, in one way or another. This will make someone else’s day. If you make someone else feel good, you will be doing a service that is immeasurable.
#7. Stop Complaining
Complaining is not going to fix anything – so why waste your time doing it? Move on and forget about whatever it is. Complaining will never solve the issue, so what is the point?
I hope this will help make your day a bit better – give it a chance! What do you have to lose?

Patience
Friends, I want to talk a bit today about something we can all use more of:
Patience
Are you a patient person? Do you lack patience? If so, these 4 tips can be helpful.
#1. Think About It
Why are you so impatient? Why are you in such a hurry? Do you have a tight schedule, or are you perhaps spreading yourself a bit thin? You need to evaluate your to-do list, and understand how you have your priorities organized.
#2. Have A “B” Plan
Remember that you may need to have a contingency plan, so make sure you have planned for that. There will be times when your plan doesn’t work out, so be prepared for that. It will help, for sure.
#3. Look For Triggers
Figure out precisely what triggers your impatience, and start preparing for it. Either work around it, or try to minimize it. If traffic is what triggers it, either try to avoid traffic, or bring with you a CD of relaxing music to play during that time.
#4. It Takes Time
Remember, there are things that will take time. Don’t let that get to you. Be prepared to wait for some things. “Good things come to those who wait”. Don’t expect things to happen overnight. If you are setting up a new weight loss plan, don’t get worried if it isn’t completed by tomorrow.
I hope some of these tips help. Be Patient, and you can be more successful in life!
