Worry In Times Of Crisis
Do you spend a great deal of time worrying? Many people are, especially in these tough times. However, I ask you, who among us has ever gained from worry? Has it given you or someone else a longer life, or more money, or better job? Of course not.
Worry is human nature, and understandably, we tend to worry when we feel there is reason. I just think we should reconsider this habit, and replace worry thoughts with positive thoughts as soon as worry begins to creep in. Your self-confidence will begin to be battered if you worry a lot. You will also notice that your imagination seems to go off on wild tangents, creating scenarios which often times are unrealistic, or technically impossible. Worrying can cause you to do and say and think things that would seem ridiculous to you at any other time. You may find thoughts creeping in with worst-case scenarios, and have yourself in situations that aren’t very logical.
If you find worry creeping in, trying to sap away your peace and happiness, replace those thoughts immediately with more pleasing, and more realistic, thoughts. Don’t let worrying get the best of you – it will, if you let it. Even if things are not at their brightest, don’t let worry make things worse. You will regret letting worry run your thoughts. Take over, and make sure more peaceful thoughts run the show. With a clear and peaceful mind, you will make better, more informed decisions, which will ulitmately keep you on track. No one makes good decisions when they are in a panic state of mind.
If you need more help, this book may be of some help.
